Well, we finally made it thanks to all of you! Carlos Jones & the PLUS Band has won the Free Times Music Award for Best Reggae/Ska artist for 2002! Congratulations to all of the band members who have worked hard over the last year to hone their sound down, add new songs to the repertoire, and bring joy to all of us who come out listen! The group recieved a beautiful diamond shaped, glass engraved plaque which will be photographed and put up on the Little Fish Records website shortly for display. And coming soon, www.carlosjones.com should be ready shortly. Frank Bubnick has been working to get this going on top of having just become a father and holding down his day job. We will announce when the site is up and running, and you will be able to check performance dates there also, as well as read various press reviews, articles, etc. that Frank has compiled over the years for the PLUS Band and even for First Light, Carlos' previous band. More surprises in store down the road.
